Attend family reading events in King County
Looking for a fun and educational activity for your family? Children’s Home Society of Washington is hosting its free annual Roll & Read event at two family resource centers in King County. Families with children of all ages are welcome.
North Seattle Family Resource Center: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 21
South King County Family Resource Center: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 29
You and your family can travel through Seattle’s Lake City or downtown Kent and participate in reading activities during a guided walk. Special characters such as Cat in the Hat, Waldo, Pete the Cat and other literary friends will make appearances along the way. We are also holding a raffle for prizes!
Walks begin every 15 minutes at the North Seattle Family Resource Center in Lake City and the South King County Family Resource Center in Kent. You can walk, push a stroller or pull a wagon.
Last year’s event had a great turn out, so join us!
